To view Jack’s photos and purchase prints: Robinson Archive

Julia RobertsLimited edition photographs are available. They are silver gel fiber prints, cibachromes and Giclee’ prints. These editions include heretofore unseen images. Subjects now being catalogued include New Orleans in the late ’40s and early ’50s, Old Mexico and Mardi Gras in the early ’50s, street scenes in the great European cities in the late ’50s and mid ’60s. We will be posting more of Jack’s photographs as time go by.

Jack printed vintage prints at the time he made the negatives but these prints are very rare. The Conde Naste Archive has a large collection of these prints. The Metropolitan Museum in New York has some of Jack’s vintage prints. The remaining are in the hands of private collectors and the Robinson Archive. To the best of our knowledge there are no vintage prints on the market. All images for sale were printed later or are new prints from the vintage negatives.

The prices of all prints from the Jack Robinson Archive are based on size, type of printing and subject matter. Currently we print silver gelatin fiber-based prints and Giclee prints with Cone carbon inks. All images are archivally processed. All prints are estate stamped.
